to call it epic is an understatement
akomuzikera: it took 5 sets, 5 hours and 53 minutes for novak djokovic and rafael nadal to make a grand slam history record. it was the best match i’ve seen (so far)! and the longest grand slam final at that! djokovic def. nadal 5-7 6-4 6-2 6-7(5) 7-5. tennis really is the greatest sport ever!

It was a joy reading this entry! pleaseexcusethemess: I was having a conversation with my boss-friend today. She’s got 6 month old twins and she’s tired. I remember when my boys were little but not sleeping well and everything was so hard. So, so hard. And yet I still made it to work and did my jobs as an employee, a mother and a spouse. And i…

Tread softly on my dreams
Words can heal, words can bruise, sometimes even words written and uttered beautifully can brighten the bluest blues. enjoy. “had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and half light, I would spread the cloths under your feet; But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams...

If you were (poem to my love 25-03-11)
If you were a flower You’d be the one to first bloom in spring If you were a royalty, you’d be the queen to the king If you were a morning ritual You’d be a fresh cup of coffee So smooth and so good, I want to make you habitual :) If you were an insect You’d be a butterfly Illuminating colors, Can mystify any guy! If you were a day in a week, You’d be friday, all day...

What's so awesome about being you?
When was the last time you’ve thought about such notion? No, really. Think and try to answer it. What’s so great about being you? Thinking yet? Can you answer it? Can you get over the fact that the query in its nature, sounds conceited? Or that someone might judge or make fun of your answer? That your thousand and one friends in facebook might think you’re full of it? Worried what kind of...

the best way to look at it is “oh, well. Yet another chance for character growth!” Of course, that’s after you passionately cry out “FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU….” Will give it another go tomorrow. Night, y’all.

Tomorrow is Today.
“We are now faced with the fact, my friends, that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time. Life often leaves us standing bare, naked, and dejected with a lost opportunity. The tide in the affairs of men does not remain at flood...

Sabbath: Don't just do something, stand there
Perhaps a more holistic way of understanding the concept of the Sabbath is to frame it as a social justice issue instead of a doctrinal one. Maybe it’s suppose to be the great equalizer in the world’s unjust, broken systems. Take a p       a      u s e … Efficiency and production doesn’t equal human value. So, to this Sabbath, I say, don’t just do something,...
